No "HATG is good" thread ?
I'll write a review later tonight. Good thread title idea. DarrrenTW pretty much nailed it. Any unbiased review would come off as negative, but it's a good, solid, and epic addition for a number of reasons.

I take carthage (the town) and I had to fight agains't the "extra" garrisons introduce in the dlc.
But When I attack the next town (the new capital of carthage) I had to fight agains't another "extra" garrison.
Does anyone noticed it too ?

I am playing HATG for sometime and finding it very enjoyable at VH.
What I like most is to bring disorder on Carthage territory with my agents while advancing through Gallia down to Iberia to confront them on the battlefield.

I play on hard as Carthage. I find it hard also to complete the campaign. I am steamrolling northern Italy. There is no need to play battles and I am swimming in money. My only real threat is running out of food. There really is zero tension...

Do Hannibal cross the alps or cross the Mediterranean to go to Italy ?

Hannibal's purpose was to "liberate" a freshly dominated region and thereby immediately weaken Rome. It would also be his best source of recruits for the Italian campaign. So it was a valid strategy.

But TW is still the basic sandbox style game that doesn't allow such a sophisticated strategy, all we have are provinces with a central city. The surprise element that was historical would be lacking in the game. But then what sane human or AI would indulge in such a venture?
Proculus: Divine Caesar, PLEASE! What have I done? Why am I here?
    Caligula: Treason!
Proculus: Treason? I have always been loyal to you!
Caligula: [laughs insanely] That IS your treason! You're an honest man, Proculus, which means a bad Roman! Therefore, you are a traitor! Logical, hmm? Ha, ha, ha!

How hard would it be to make regions in Italy prone to switch sides / revolt if a sizeable non-controlling enemy force is present? Simple script right?
