    Default READ THIS DARTH PLZ Inexistant Seleucid unit o_O

    i tried different type of seleucid compaign but i cannot see the silver shield legionnaries unit in any building page info (barracks or temple) so it seems i won't be able to train this unit looking at the tech-tree.
    what is going on?
    is this unit reserved for custom games? why i can't see it in campaign game?

    No you have to wait for Marian reforms and all imitation legionaire units in the game will show.(in other factions too)

    Hi Darth,

    I am playing a Carthaginian campaign on 8.1 and I have Sacred Legions but I am pretty sure Marius has not happened as all the Roman forces I have faced are pre-Marian.

    what makes me laught is that i find elephants ridiculous, on the paper 3 attack points, in battle expérience they do not deal lot of dmg on infantry as they used to... :/

    I have seen an elephant unit completely devastate a group of principes, in an open field, in a matter of seconds, they seem strong enough to me .

    As stated many times before, many users of DarthMod are troubled about the ingame stats shown for units, and think they are unbalanced.
    What of course they see later in the game and in the battlefield is a lot different because DarthMod uses a lot of techniques to balance a unit.
    So Elephants are extremelly powerful ..I mean make a test really. They also have realistic weaknesses (When surrounded by lots of infantry or confronted by skirmishers). They will not amok but when they retreat they heavily disrupt friendly forces which if you can take advantage of that in momentum it is enough.

    @Achilleus:

    As I remember this is the only unit it can become a legion but needs many many buildings to build so hat Carthage gains a technological advantage speculatively.
