This is actually an interesting conflict.
It's roots started with the Japanese Conquest of the Philippines. After the conquest two guerrilla groups formed: the official guerrilla organization supported by the Allies and the Philippine government in exile which sought to restore the Filipino Government and temporary US rule (this was the largest and most successful, it also contained US Soldiers who escaped the Surrender at Bataan and the Bataan Death March) and the Huks who were a semi-Communist organization who wanted to remove the Japanese and also set up a new government that redistributed land and was independent (according to the memoirs of US Soldiers serving in the Filipino insurgency the Huks were little more than bandits, but they are biased s take that with a grain of salt). During the resistance to the Japanese the insurgent groups fought each other as much as the Japanese. When American troops liberated the Philippines they disarmed the Huks, transformed the official guerrillas into the Philippine Army and restored the Philippine government. There was an uneasy peace between the Huks and the government during the year of US rule, but after the end of US rule the Huks rebelled seeking a redistribution of land and the transformation of the Filipino Government to remove the perceived influence of the landed class. This war was ended by a peace treaty in 1954. As a result of the peace treaty the Filipino government granted land to the Huks in Mindano. The movement of the Christian Huks to Historically Muslim Moro lands pissed off the Moro people, especially as the Christians started outnumbering Muslims due to Filipino resettlement. This led to a series of events culminating in the MILF insurgency

More Filipino Government/US vs Abu Sayyaf, MILF is disarming.
However seeing as there are only around 300 members of Abu Sayyaf compared to 15,000 in MILF, this is a major Filipino victory.

There was also a Man Liberation Front in Belgium, but that was a tv show instead of an armed insurgency.
