unrealistic reloading speed?

I noticed that high end infantry which use muzzle loading rifles reload and fire at what seems to be an outrageously fast speed. It seems the same speed or nearly the same speed as US marines using breech loaders. Am I wrong? It shows a splitsecond of ramming the barrel animation ansd then the infantry can fire.

The whole game is highly unrealistic and unhistorical. Besides, reloading animations have sucked since Empire.
You could always mod the reloading speed.
