Rome:Total War Gold Edition - Login Failed - Invalid CD Key

Just downloaded the Rome: Total War Gold edition from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1


But i am running into the problem where when i try to access Multiplayer ( the whole reason i got it ) I get a Login Failed -Invalid CDKey error.

I tried editing the key where it lets you right below the online game option to no effect, and YES i did type it exactly including the - and with the correct 0 instead of o etc.

I also went into registry and found the only place it showed the CD Key and copied the key given to me by Amazon. Same issue.

Got gamespy and used their option to try and create an online game, RTW opened and then same exact error.

Was wondering if anyone had a solution to this anywhere or if i should be trying to get a refund, its very frustrating and would love and appreciate a hand.

That's very odd. Maybe the CDKey you have is wrong?
I would get a refund. Have you tired getting the game off steam - it should work straight away as it saves your CDKey code.

Amazon is refunding me, Something about it not downloading?

I'll have to get it from Steam. Very frustrating lol
