Yeah, CA likes to put these sorts of limits on things. Wish I could get it to work, but the campaign map is tied to the DLC so it won't work without it.

Question (that might have been answered in the past, but i cba to check). Will this mod be standalone, or part of TGW? In other words, do i need TGW to play it? And if i don't, can i include both mods in my NTW?

Yes, you would need TGW to play. There's just too many borrowed assets for it to be standalone.

The PostTGW modding collective, yes I did just come up with that name but the collective does exist, it includes the sandstorm mod this one and my WWII mod. Anyway on topic modding has slowed and you may have to wait a bit longer

Honestly the biggest motivator for the entire team was Rome 2 coming out. We thought if we released after Rome 2 no one would pay attention to our mod so we pushed really had to get released like 2-3 weeks before it came out. Then of course Rome 2 was a complete disaster at release so that helped out our downloads ALOT
At the least I want the EEF playable but hopefully I can get the Arabs and Ottomans playable too, so yes, my ultimate goal is to let the player lead Lawrence and the Arabs in a raid on AqabaMid East, meaning, we get to play as Lawrence as well? Neat.

Why, as if you didn't know. You expected R2 to be an amazing, shiny gem? Haven't you been paying attention the last 5 years? I think it was a ploy, on your behalf, to force intensifying of labor and thus, make the modders release it earlier. Now, personally, i play the mod, but i cannot abide that. Well, if you wanna get technical, only Brits and Turks should appear on this theater.... and yeah maybe some emergent Arabs and Egyptians and stuff.... but that's just as much.At the least I want the EEF playable but hopefully I can get the Arabs and Ottomans playable too, so yes, my ultimate goal is to let the player lead Lawrence and the Arabs in a raid on Aqaba
