    Default Importing new 3D Asset - Running into errors, any help?

    I'm trying to import a sword I have created to get it into the game... but I keep running into errors, seemingly to do with the directx shader, which is currently setup correctly. As far as I can tell y'know since there is NO documentation whatsoever...

    Currently the error I am getting is (please see attachment)

    Texture folder: variantmeshes/_variantmodels/man/weapons/tex
    ERROR: Weighted mesh 'ger_sword_lod1 subobject 0' is trying to use a Rigid Mesh shader 'standard'.
    Failed.
    =====================================
    Duration: 48 msec(s)

    The directx shader is using the CA_SHADER.FX file, I cleaned the shader of all the previous materials that were on it, and all my files are in tga format. I am completely stumped by this, no idea what's causing this. Any help would be much appreciated.

    I worked it out, it seemed that the directx shader I had applied wasn't playing nice. I suggest importing your mesh into one of the max files CA gave us (helmet, armour, whatever) and then applying the shader that mesh has to your mesh, then change the shader type within the material editor, and re-link the textures in the shader file. Worked for me.

    Nevermind, this error has cropped up again, and I cannot solve it. Joy.
