Default Dead princess doesn't grey out

    Hi!

I know this is a common problem, but I didn't found any solutions here in the forum.

When a princess dies of natural causes, the picture of her does not turn to grey. However, when she is disgraced, or killed with a fleet out on the sea, she turns into grey.

I checked what happening in the system.log when a princess dies, the problem is that the game does not search for the data\ui\CULTURE\portraits\portraits\dead\princesses path, but thedata\ui\CULTURE\portraits\portraits\young\princesses path instead.

Is there any way to change these portrait mapping paths? For this shall solve the problem as far as my modding knowledge goes...

EDIT: the changelog of the official 1.2 patch says that they've fixed the problem. I have 1.5 installed, and the problem is still there...

    Thanks!

Does the princess stay listed as alive? or is it just the portrait that is an issue?

Maybe fixed in medieval2.exe does not mean CA carried it over to kingdoms.exe. If so, it would not be the first thing found.

Well, they die, their name stands like:

    Maria
    Died Peacefully: 1225 AD

But their pictures are still coloured.

Well, if the problem is in the exe, I can't fix it....
I opened it with notepad++ but I cant understand the mechanics of it...
