Do you still need people for 2D work and writing? I was also planning to learn DBEditing and more technical modwork as well.

Yes
Yes, we are still searching for 2D artist to create textures for units.
I can help and teach how to create textures if you're interested in.
I you are still in need of DB editors I would like to volunteer my services.
Yes,
Can you give us specific details of your experiences with DB editing?
I have primarily done unit additions for personal use and did some very limited startpos editing. I am very willing to learn more about both startpos and the other areas of db editing. It seems that editing other areas, like buildings or techs are fairly straight forward but time consuming.
PM sent
I honestly want to join but I've never modded in my life.

Researching is easy, everyone can do it, it just takes time.
Quintus Hortensius Hortalus can you do a tutorial on how to do portraits, don't know if you received my messages, I'd really want to help.
I spoke to one of your developers maybe a year ago (cannot remember who, sorry, have been off-grid with RW stuff) about a vision of how to transition the mod through different periods of the 18th Century, by using interchangeable pack files for certain time periods, an idea I was already toying with and IS already seemed to have all the models, tech trees and so on developed, just not tied together fully yet.
I did a lot of work to put together the pack files for the ACW mod in an organized fashion. I know there's a lot of amazing models and material out there for IS. If I can be of help to organize it all into the pack files, particularly in a way that supports transitioning though periods of uniform style and unit availability through the C18 then lease let me know.
My guess it was wangrin. If interested in helping out with this, please send me a PM.
I think i could do some db edit for you. I have some experiences in modding ETW.
We need someone who can help out the model and texture artists in regards to the DB tables to speed up the process. If interested, make a request to join our group and send me a PM when you have done so.
hi there yall!
cro hunger told me to request an invite to the research team but i have no idea how that works. after talking to him a couble times we decided that i would research the early campaign politics and proceed with other stuff after that.
Send me a PM giving me your background research and knowledge of expertise.
Information about some German regiments from 1776 that might prove of some use for AOR with regards to British, I had a spare hour or so, so did a little digging. I hope this will be of some use to you, just so you know most of the German regiments were styled on the Prussian, except that of Anhalt who looked to the Austrians for their styles. There was over 30.000 in service to the King.
