No shield,helmets and walking Armour with no humans inside it

I have DeI steam version. It is up to date.I also have the freaking patch 10 installed.

Additional mods are : GEM,Aztec's,better water, noif better horses.

Until last night everything was working beautifully and I was cheerfully conquering all those who oppose me, until today after patching the game to 10. Now dome of my soldiers have missing shields, helmets, and some soldiers are missing and only their armor is moving about.

Has anyone else encountered the same issues?? Has anyone solved it ??

Haven't played DeI with the newest patch, but I would hazard a guess that the horses mod is the most likely conflict. GEM and Aztec's are mods I use and had no previous trouble with, and Better Water doesn't sound like it affects units.

If it is not a conflict with another mod I suggest you to unsubscribe from Steam and subscribe again, downloading it all anew.

I had to rebuild the Steam version and it can be in your case the update was not done correctly. So start everything anew.

However it is more probable that the Horse mod causes trouble (if it changes textures).

thanks for your help guys, I just had to do the good ol' verify game cache !!
