Alright so here is the deal, Im currently playing a "Late Campaign" as the HRE, I have 2 problems,
First Problem: it been awhile so i don't know the exact turn this happened but, we will just say turn 70ish (Its about turn 120 right now).
After the AI's turns are over, I noticed when it was my turn I found specifically; 2 Merchants, and 1 priest. Outside The Capital of that destroyed faction; (ex: Finding 2 French Merchants, and 1 French Priest along Paris) So every nation that was destroyed I found those agents right outside there capital. The weird thing is they all have zero piety or finance for that agent, and they are all age 20, their age doesn't change neither. I'm assuming sense there faction was destroyed they have no turn for them to move about. It seems so far the only way to get rid of them is by sending an assassin to kill them.
Anyone know any idea why this happened?
Second Problem: People say the Teutons either cant die or you have to kill all there agents. Well there last city was taken on like turn 30ish by Lithuania, no destroyed faction sign yet, so then I used "toggle_fow" to see where they were. they were somewhere in Egypt from the last crusade, sense the Teutons lost its cities they kinda just chilled there, so eventually the Fatimid Caliphate killed them off, (I didn't see it happen but they weren't there anyone so I assume that's what happened) This was around turn 45. Still no Destroyed Faction sign. So I searched the map for a diplomat or merchant, I found 2 diplomats, so I sent assassins after them to kill them, this was around turn 60. Still no Destroyed Faction sign. So I used toggle_fow to see where they were for the AI's turn, instantly when it was there turn it skipped to the next faction. So either they have a spy or an assassin thats 120 years old. or they truly are invincible. They also always have full crosses for the pope too.
