Icon4 About the CTD of revision 2

There's a little typo in revision 2 that causes a CTD at end turn. I've already fixed it and I'm uploading the correction.

If you have the Steam version you will have the update shortly automatically. If you use the standalone version please download the pack again in about 30 minutes (maybe earlier, I will post here when done).

I'm sorry for the inconvenience. It was merely a little typo in a disabled unit (a missing "s" in the name) that, however, causes the crash when the engine doesn't find the record to disable.

These last updates have been more filled by mistakes that I find acceptable on my part and I apologize for this. I will be more cautious in the future before putting up updates to not try to not cause these sort of troubles anymore.

P.S: Steam version is ready, uploading mediafire one.

    EDIT:

    Standalone is fixed.

Steam version got corrupted (the problem did go beyond revision 2 actually and I have no idea what happened) and I'm rebuilding it.

    EDIT2:

The rebuild of Steam version is done.

    Everything should work fine now.

For me and others I know it was a crash on launch, and after the update it still crashes on launch.

I just updated and it crashed again, is there anyway I can tell if I've got the revision of the revision?

    Ok, the standalone is ready.

    For now use it.

I've successfully rebuild the steam version and now it works. I will re-upload it anew and then all will be fine.

I've not the slightest idea why it corrupted however.

I don't know why the hell the Steam version crashes. This has nothing to do with the revision 2 thing (that's a crash at end turn, not at the loading screen).

Until I resolve the issue please use the standalone version (the updated one, that's uploading).

The standalone version works fine. The steam version, that's the same exact, crashes at loading screen. I will now try to redo all the Steam pack to see if that resolve the issue.

Download it again, you have the old version.

I said to wait before the update (with the fix) was ready before downloading the standalone.

Don't apologize, your mod is incredibly good and the support we are getting with this mod is waaaaaaaaaaay better than most game companies which is quite a feat considering CA, EA, Blizz etc got nothing on you I, and I think I'm not the only one, really appreciate you and your team.

Thanks for your hard work, DeI is what a TW game should be all about

Because I'm uploading it anew from scratch.

It will return visible when the process is ended.

The important thing is that you are fixing it so quickly. Steam often causes problems, just a fact of Steam. Thank you for your hard work and determination to make things work. I have said it before, but this mod is the only thing that has made it possible for me to enjoy Rome 2.

Everything should work fine from now on.

Would it be possible to tell us where to fix this ourselves using the PFM? I have already edited my first rev of .82g to make some changes in the VCs I prefer and it would be easier for me just to add the missing "s" to wherever it needs to go.

Under lua_scripts > lib_reforms.lua, search "Ill_Thureos_Spear" and change it to "Ill_Thureos_Spears" (beware if you do it automatically because there is also an entry for "Aux_Gre_Ill_Thureos_Spears" and that's correct, so if you do the replace in automatic you will have "Aux_Gre_Ill_Thureos_Spearss" and the game crashing again, but this time for an "s" more).

    Save and it's done.

    I see a "Ill_Heavy_Spear", but not a "Ill_Thureos_Spear", in the lib_reforms.lua section.

edit: I see them (Ill_Thureos_Spears) in the newest version of .82g, but not in the first version of .82g that I downloaded. I will just go ahead and edit my VC changes into the newest version of .82g. But perhaps the best solution in the future would be to change the letter version of the file when changing anything, even if a really small change such as this.
