As my desktop exploded in August, I'm forced to play on my laptop. So here are its specs:

NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS 256 Mb

I'm actually still in the planning stage. Actually, I'd appreciate any suggestions, as my knowledge is a little out of date, not having built a new system in years. I don't really know what the best options for performance are. Especially with main boards, CPUs, and dual GPUs.

With these settings, the battles were very smooth. I tried playing on max but it was lag central. Anybody notice that texture quality is a major fps killer?

and it is not running, but it should !

All these DirectX 8 cards and pre SM2.0 guys are running at max settings and no shadows with no lag. My PC shouldn't have any problems then.. but I'm sure I'll be very dissapointed.

Which API does M2:TW/R:TW use? Direct3D right?
