Problem with DB Editor

Hello, I am new here.

I am having problems with db editor(I wish to use it to edit unit stats). Whenever I open db editor, I get an error which states something like 'access to boot.pack is denied'. I tried running it as admin, but that didn't help. As a result, I am unable to use the db editor at all.

I am a total noob when it comes to modding. Can anyone help me?

Under the "File" tab at the top is a list of options. click on the "CA files are Read Only" option to remove it. Then you can make changes provided you click on the right thing.
