DeI & other mods self erased from my data file and don't appear in there even after re-subscribing and download

Hi, last night I was playing a CiG campaing, turned the computer off, adn next day when I woke up DeI and every other mod I was using disappeared. I unsubscribed, and subscribed again on the steam workshop but they are nowhere to be found. Has anyone else experience this bizarre incident?

No but 2 days ago R2 was grey on steam, like when it is not installed. But when i checked my steam folder the game was there and all the mods. So I instleld it and it found files that was already there :S And then it updated the mods.

Try with a manual install for DEi, maybe that works.

I did a system restore to no avail, but I did managed to damage my anti-virus with that :S I will have to install most of my mods manually from the TWC, but sadly some of the mods I use are not uploaded here just on steam...I really hate steam...

In the future you should look into taking the .pack files from your mods and making duplicates of them, and renaming them as well. This way you'll have offline copies of the mods that won't be affected by steam-driven updates that may break or corrupt files or otherwise mess with your game's functionality. Periodically replacing these with new versions of the mod (provided they work) would keep a consistent 'roll-back' option for you in-case something happens with the other files or Steam's updating system for workshop files.

Yes mate I should have, and I will. Tonight I'll try using my laptop to download copies of the steam mods, but I am afraid is an account bug

:\ I am having this same issue now, to an extent. As far as I am aware, and there may well be other mods missing that I haven't noticed yet, I've only lost part 5. :|

Worst thing is that downloading them again does not work, I downloaded almost 1 Gb of mods, and they don't appear on the data folder anyways
