Help! Rome crash to desktop!

Ok, whenever i play campaign, it crashes when i click the little boxes on the side (every turn), like news and stuff, the only ones that make it crash are the ones with videos in them. (I know this because i can tell and my mate told me they are videos) Anyway, when i click on the ones with videos (Faction died and monument thing (Ithink)) it crashed. Any help?,,

You a program that can play them, don't remember the name but I think it's on the RTW cd. I had the same problem before I installed that program.

Install DirectX that came with the CD and also have you installed any mods yet?
