The High Road: The Jacobite Era - Willing mod leaders wanted!
Dear all, potential modleaders.
The High Road, as some of you may remember, is a mod in progress focussing on Scotland, Northern England and Northern Ireland from 1715-1745 - the height of the Jacobite Risings. Please find the original threat and screenshots here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?528053-The-High-Road-The-Jacobite-Era-25-1-added-list-of-regiments-to-first-post
For some time I have worked on this mod and have gotten along very well. It has a beautiful, large and 100% accurate campaign map and all the units are done, as is any research into appropriate regiments. Besides this, various new city models are finished.
Sadly, due to real life obligations I simply do not have the time to complete it. I am therefore hereby offering the mod package to any willing mod leader so that it may be finished in good order. It would be an enormous waste of resources to fail this project.
If you have interest in finishing this promising project, please send me a PM. Although I am no longer able to fully commit myself to the mod, I would be happy to provide advice in terms of recruitment systems and regiments that should be included for a historically accurate game.
I hope to hear from anyone of you soon

Oh, man. I hope you find someone to complete your work.
After all these years, I found out that your user name is not an allusion to Run DMC.
Can you provide more details about what is still left to be done?

Of course. Much of the remaining work is scripting and coding. It still needs a recruitment system and a few scripts that accurately reflect the Jacobite Risings (and I had some pretty kickass ideas for it so if anyone is picking this up, I'd be happy to advise), as well as a solid building tree. Besides that, a lot of units (mostly the highland ones) still need proper textures and recolours of those. Finally, there is some 2-D art left to be done and some touching up on the map (smoothing out areas so that the villages / towns fit neatly and naming / placing a few castles).
If anyone needs any more info, let me know!
