DarrenTotalWar previews the mod: "Roman Houses: Familiae Romanae" for Total War: Rome II by Idreaus! The mod separates the three Roman Families (Julia, Cornelia, Junia) into three playable sub factions (House of Julii, Scipii & Brutii) under the ruler of the senate (S.P.Q.R.) and introduces senate missions and a new diplomatic dynamics for the Roman Factions. Each Roman faction has a unique colour palette in the same vein as Rome Total War to really give players of the old game a sense of nostalgia. The mod also features the ability to play a co-op campaign as Romans together, so you and a friend can conquer the known world, and each other.
