My tactic of avoiding incursions and conflict with the Iberians using alliances and treaties, whilst I conquered a number of Gallic provinces, has now broken down by taking sides with the Lusotannan in a war agianst the Edetani. Two large Edetani armies then swiftly decended on one of my legions in the province Tarraconensis, in which a bloody battle ensued. Only the stamina of the Triarii avoided total defeat at the hands of these fierce warriors swinging falcatas above their heads.

In battles like this, I guess having blue tinted glasses is just the thing to stop blood getting in your eyes.

No problem buddy. At the moment I'm using a graphical mod @@celt_romeIIHD_orbis_terrarum_v1_2a I've set up the GEMFX and ReShade functions for this mod. Therefore, without this mod graphics view will be different. Link to preset

just throw in the folder with the replacement file. This link can be used by anyone.

My opinion is that it would be wonderful. It would help many people and would allow them to make their choice to their liking.

Oh my pleasure buddy! Thanks for the kind words

    EDIT
A question though, why are you using both GEM and Reshade ? Just for the configuration I guess, but Reshade has his own very easy (F2) configuration panel, which is simple and quicker (ingame realtime changing).
If you're using it for different filters, make sure the settings are different so you'll not have overlapping effects.

Sometimes you need to change the GEM and ReShade settings at the same time. When you can do it using one сonfigurator it is very convenient. You're right, some features and effects can give an overlay effect, and it's more convenient for me to tweak them together from a single сonfigurator, so I have a complete picture of what I'm doing. I think that this method is more convenient for graphics settings, because you can configure GEM and ReShade at the same time.
But I do not impose my opinion, everyone can do it as he wants.)

I'm pretty familiar with doing the basics in configuring my gem settings. However, I've been too intimidated to try out all those other fancy features in reshade. If you don't mind my asking, what settings do you like using in reshade?

This is very easy to do. If you do not have a ReShade file in the game folder, download it, throw it in the Rome II folder and specify it in the GEM configurations. After that you can configure ReShade in GEM Configurator in the SweetFX tab
    The screen for example

I find reshade to be leaps superior than GEM, especially with version 4.0 that was recently released. I highly suggest you guys check it out

Yeah sure, whatever works for you buddy. I'm fairly certain that Reshade has every single filter included in GEM though, so IMO it'll be easier for you to have a single (F2) adjustable on the fly preset than 2 combined ones. It's your choice ofc

Actually Reshade is much easier to configure, since it gives you the ability to change and test each feature real time.

I agree. I was an avid GEM user for yrs, till I started working with Reshade. It's so easily adjustable and the real time changes are the only way to go for me. That reminds me I have a few presets to tweak at some point

    PS
    It's 4.0.2 now.
