    Default Playing on a 64-bit Windows 7

The Windows XP desktop from which I played and modded M2:TW for years seems to finally be on its last legs. I've been trying to get Med2 to play on my laptop, which is a 64-bit Windows 7 system, but I haven't been able to get it to work yet.

I've done a little googling, but so far nothing has worked. Is there a fix I can install to work around this?

I'm playing on 64bit desktop. Post or attach your dxdiag.

Steam M2TW or non Steam M2TW? Probably UAC issues..
American, French, Israeli and British government's ILLEGAL aggression against the Syrian people, without any proof for chemical attacks in Douma, and without waiting for OPCW to conduct their investigation..
Sons of *******, leave that poor, war torn country in peace.
If you are a citizen of one of these countries, then DO NOT ask any help from me on these forums, since, in protest against this aggression by your governments, I do not provide assistance/help anymore.
Let Syria be finally in peace.

A video of false chemical attack in Douma, Syria, which led to Western illegal attacks.

Non-steam. I'll have to re-install to run the dxdiag, I had the problem a few weeks ago and removed it from my computer. Couldn't remember my TWC log-in at the time. Great seeing you again, irishron.

Tried to re-install the game last night to check and see what the exact error messages were again. . .now the DVD-ROM drive of my laptop is refusing to even read the disc. My thanks to everyone who was willing to help, but it appears that I wasted your time. Sorry. +rep
