    Default Several questions.

1st. What is the optimal resolution to play Rome Total War on a laptop with a maximum of 1366x768 resolution?

I'm terribly sorry for double posting, but I can't find the ''Edit'' button.

2nd. How can I change the color of a faction showing on the map, and on its banners. For example I don't like yellow for Syracuse.

3rd. Is there a way to not show the borders of every region on the map?

4th. Can I play a swap faction like Syracuse with 1Turn Recruitment option?

You cant change colors from an ingame menu. You would have to mod it.

I am curious about the borders myself.
I played as Rome and Parthia and there were no borders and now on Carthage...i have borders.

in 'descr_sm_factions.txt' you will find this:

    primary_colour red 85, green 135, blue 65
    secondary_colour red 85, green 135, blue 65

Entry for every faction. You get a '2-fer' here, because this controls the color of the faction on the map, AND whether borders show. If the secondary color is the same as the primary color for all factions, no borders will show. This is an option already in the '_important_stuff' folder for most factions\campaigns.

There is also a folder in there (_important_stuff) called:

    Syracuse_Alternate_Files

There you will find alternate files for 1 or 0 turn campaigns. You need to COPY both files into the Play_Syracuse campaign for it to work.
