Making Peasants useful
Is there any way to give Peasants (or a new unit, Laborers/Engineers/etc) a trait that increases army move points and/or siege construction points? Reflecting cutting paths, building bridges, carting supplies, etc. Maybe not on the unit itself if that's not possible, but a trait for generals that checks the units in their army? If any of it is possible, you could have all sorts of different units with 0 attack, 0 defence (if 0 is even a valid number for these), like Camp Followers (+morale, lowers movement).

Removing them for better authentic units is much more good option I think
