Macedonian (Pyrrhic too) phalanx unit: the weapons (-sarissas) of the first five rows of men (-not three like in Medieval 2) all projected beyond the front of the formation (Like in Rome Total War). Can you make it?

good find, you can see the actual phalanx if you play a custom battle as greek cities. there is a tarentin phalanx unit available and they look quite similar to the picture

Our phalanx yes it has this problem, is similar not the same, only the two front rows lower they sarissas. DBM has the right animation i am working on it, but have some problems merge this animation. I want to add tho hoplite animation from DBM to.Macedonian (Pyrrhic too) phalanx unit: the weapons (-sarissas) of the first five rows of men (-not three like in Medieval 2) all projected beyond the front of the formation (Like in Rome Total War). Can you make it?

I've been so away from PI2.... And from TW - since Rome 2 came out. I'm just very glad you people still go on. I love this mod, I love the sounds you use. It's something like a little gem for me.

Did you considered making your own mod ? I would be delighted by something for example focused on Peloponnesian War, or Greek-Persian wars.
With 1 good mapper and 1 good coder I think it would turn out well, as far as I see you're fast with unit making, and I guess many of the material you made so far would fit into time periods I mentioned ?
