    Really? I feel patch 9 made a huge performance improvement for me. Haven't tried patch 10 yet.
    Of course my computer 4-5 years old.

    Patch seven or earlier increased performance by alot for me and I could run it with any army but since recent patches they introduce some weird animation lagging features and also graphic quality dropped.
    With 10 and huge armies I get those texture flickering again they had after a previous patch too.

    What I really want them to deal with is the game breaking lag that occurs as SOON as a city gate is burned to the ground.

    Likewise. This bug needs to get more attention, been there from the start. Always used to occur in a battle in Carthage atleast.

    I also wait for a fix to single player naval battles, where the ai boards a ship and if it wins the ai ship becomes inactive and can't be targeted by ramming etc by the player.

    It took them more than 10 patches to fix the kneeling dead and the floating buildings (considering it is actually fixed).

    Well it is a beta patch for a reason. Try to see if you can't send CA your specs and issues, so they can see what might be causing it. Because you know this patch will be out of beta soon, and then you're going to need to fight the auto-update everytime you turn Steam on and off.

    I actually was fine so all I care about is that its not going further in the wrong direction. I would rather have it seperated from content cause I never had a problem with performance until the patches came.
    Also battle maps got a huge visual nerf what makes me wonder where all the performance went into?

    I would be happy if you could provide some data on that in my thread Lucifer. kriss is right this is a beta patch, and also we know we have to take performance increases on a patchnote with a grain of salt.

    Old problem with patch 10 beta
    Fps is not problem,but the soldiers battle like Freeze Play

    and my cpu is 4770k oc 4.5G

    As far as CA is concerned, they have already dealt with sieges in the earlier siege patch. They aren't going to keep going back to it and whack at it. It's done. Finished. The game is what it is. CA has already answered long ago why the torches are in the game, but people can't accept that and keep whining about it. Yeah, good luck with that. Me? I'm not going to waste my time or energy on useless activities. A reminder is worth trying, but anything more than a second reminder is just bothersome. CA knows what is the laundry list of things people would like to have. I don't have to remind them, nor do I care to. I'll just play what there is and move on.

    There is no performance increase at least not for me. I seem to be having worse performance with fps dropping down to 20 again.

    I find Sieges and Naval battles as the most broken things in this game... both are ridiculously simplified, both don't even work how they were even intended.. will they ever fix them? i have my doubts.. ETW is very good example of CA focus on fixing the broken game...
