My motherboard is a K8 triton nforce 4 SLI. I can see how I can physically install a second 7800 but what do I need to do in terms of bios or other changes???
Thanks.

Have you checked the manual? With my DFI mobo, I think SLI is autodetected once the second card is slotted in, and the SLI bridge is connected.
Edit: It appears there may be some sort of switch between the PCI slots on your board. According to a manual on the Gigabye site, Linked here, you have to reverse the switch to make enable SLI. I could be reading the wrong manual though...

I have also on my motherboard a little connector that you must flip in order to SLI to take effect im not talking about the SLI bridge but another one on the motherboard itself if you know what i mean. I have a MSI motherboard. Once you get those thing sorted out you could get too the Nvidia control panel and see if everything is in order.
You are both right. I will attempt it later and see the extent of Murphy's Law...
Thanks
After it is installed, I know you have to enable it in the Nvidia control panel also.
