I start a turn with 5,000 in the bank, am projected to make a small profit, and, next, turn have -5,000, even though the reported turn income was positive. This happens every turn, and I have no idea what is causing it. It is
making the game unplayable, because I invariably have no money after the first turn of a campaign, even though I should. Any help would be appreciated.

That is because on SS set Up you chose BGR4, rerun SS Set Up, de-select and start a new campaign
