Mercenary War Elephants - still in?

Hello.

I recently dloaded this mod and it is just what I have been looking for, I'm really enjoying it so far. I have a question - I'm playing as Thrace and I thought it would be useful to get some elephants on my side so I sent one of my lesser, married-in generals across the sea to north africa in the hope of recruiting some mercenary elephants (I've never tried this in vanilla but when I used to play Eastern factions I remember seeing them) I can't find any anywhere in Africa - are mercenary elephants still in or have they been removed? Do they appear in Africa or just in the Eastern part of the map?

I am pretty sure they are still in, I havent noticed them but if they are in you probably cant recruit them because you are not in the rght area or they are just not avaliable yet.

Yeah they are still in i had some in my roman campaign but they are rare

thanks guys, I think I'll send my general to the East and see what he can dig up there, as I said I always remembered seeing them with my Selucids though I didn't need them.

Erm the province in north africa more or less opposite the baleric isles i think

You want all Greek elephants recruitable in Epirus? I can do that.

Edit: Epirus can recruit elephants but it takes a cavalry barracks. I just checked the EDB file.
