    Icon4 A Note about Sub-Mods and DeI 0.8

I am pretty sure the pack file name will be changing for those who download the mod from TWC (for now the Steam pack names will stay the same). The new pack will have a "_" in front, for example _Divide_et_Impera.pack.

The reason for this is so that it loads before some other mods out there that affect the scripting.lua file (which, if other mods are used with that file, will cause the Reforms not to load).

So, future Sub-mods will need to be named "_aXXXXX.pack" (or _b or _c). Anything that loads before _D, so that they overwrite the base DeI version.

This is only for those sub-mods that overwrite base DeI content, not for those that simply add new content.

Something I want to clarify about load order: In what direction are mods loaded in the two mod managers? In the TWC mod manager, mods are loaded starting from the bottom of the list to the top, correct? And in the TWC mod manager, are mods loaded starting from the left of the list or the right?

Thanks for clarifying Dresden! Now I see we have a scripting.lua file as well.

    to tomFoolery:
1.) Steam Launcher = right to left !!
2.) TWC Launcher = bottom to top

It is a bit confusing how you said it, easy to fall into a trap. I would suggest to say it that way:

If you want a mod to load before another it has to be always on top in the TWC Launcher AND the "Rome II > data" directory (right to left in the launcher itself as the first entry in the launcher will be the one on top in the folder and therefore loaded as a last and overwrites all others)

So, the bottom line: If I want File X to overwite File Y, File X should be above File Y in the TWC manager, yeah?

Yes, in the TWC Mod Manager you want it to be listed in a higher priority.

In the Steam Mod Manager, it should be listed first on the left. This is determined by alphabetical order.

Yes, that would be fine. All submods are welcome.
