    Thanks for your work. To be honest, I have always wanted something like this- I knew how it can be done but not how to actually achieve it- which you did.

    Question: Can't people just copy and paste the lines of script under your scripting.lua (the section you titled MOD SCRIPT) in to the scripting.lua of their own mods and files and theoretically it will work right? Or is it not that simple. I play DeI and I tried that myself. The game runs but I am not sure if the script is actually running. I am definitely NOT going to release it.

    I moved all my scripting from the scripting.lua and made it modular in its own Lua file now, it get's called from a native function in episodic scripting now, and as no mod will ever edit that (it does nothing), this mod should forever be entirely compatible with all other mods. Including DEI, so no worries.

    As for using my script elsewhere etc, feel free to do with it what you want for personal use, as you can with all mod content, but yes as you say just don't release anything.

    Thats the plan, I'm about 50 turns into an Iceni campaign atm, soon as I get to about turn 100 I'm going to remove the FOW and take some screens. Naturally so far everyone I want to be alive is alive, no idea how much factions like Rome have expanded yet though.

    Mitch, there is one particular area where your mod is bound to return random results, namely the greek city states region.

    Since there's like 5 playable factions there, things are sure to get heated, do you remember if any of those gave their demise in your current campaign?

    What determines alliance? Defensive, military aliance or client/satrap`, non-agg. pact?

    But how big were those armies? I think that the mod only gives a bonus to major factions, it doesn't make them automatically win. So a 20 stack minor faction army is still going to beat a 5 stack major faction army most of the time.

    I don't know how big their armies were, it was out of my vision. I thought it was auto win for major factions.

    Hello, First post. I am using this mod as well as a 2 tpy mod and so far about 60 turns in, Rome and Carthage are doing quite well. In past experience Carthage is dead about 20 turns in but they are still a major power. Rome has beaten the Etrusians(spell check) and Syracuse. The Biggest empire I have seen(besides myself) is the Arverni and Suebi. I am playing as the Iceni. I would say(so far) I'm really happy with the mod. GREAT work!

    Here is my campaign map, with my mod list(I am Ardiaei). Once again thank you Mitch for this mod, I cant imagine rome 2 without it now.

    My factions.txt is not working properly. Screenshot of log and .txt follows. As you can see, Baktria and Boii are still benefiting from the mod. I can tell you that the txt files are in the main_rome folder, and this is a brand new campaign that I started today.
