very low res, but I'd assume it's Vercingetorix being proclaimed king in Gergovia?
The joke being resisting Romans for a change is very different?

This is a few centuries later. The city in the background isn't Gallic, but rather what ended them

Nothing that a bit of "Chopping down sacred german tree" can't find.

This'll be Saint Boniface spreading totalitarian Christendom through the land, and here he chops down the Donar's Oak, the sacred oak of Thor. It is said that he made but a single cut before the oak split and broke. Then the pagans converted

I found this quite interestingly-angled article on it, worth a read though read with a pinch or 20 of salt

Pretty much, yes. Virginia Dare was born on Roanoke Island, in what is now North Carolina. (By New England I presume t'is all the colonies, not todays state) Virginia was the first English child born in North America.

The Boston Massacre, I presume. Today, it's the event's 249th anniversary.

Abdications of Bayonne in 1808 that started the Peninsular war? I read "Ferdinand VII" below and that combined with your tip makes me think of this.

Correct! The four rulers and kingdoms in question were Napoleon I, Joseph I, Charles IV, Ferdinand VII, France, Naples and Spain respectively.

Technically Naples and Sicily were two kingdoms.

That is part of a quite famous painting by Botticelli. It shows the death of Lucretia. The catalyst to the downfall of the Roman Kings and the rise of the Republic.
