Sorry...contrary to popular belief, it's not a coronation It was a proclamation... as always the Spanish ceremony takes the form of a proclamation rather than a coronation.

    Edit,
General Brewster, the picture of Constantine and Anne-Marie is.. a non event.Familiar faces, damnit, I'm getting old.

1936, London. Why was this meeting an European historical event?

I haven't a clue, but since this has been sitting awhile, I am going to say it is Prince Albert meeting with the board of directors for the Great Exhibition, for no other reason than the guy standing looks a little like Prince Albert to me, and it looks like a meeting of some board of directors or clubs.

    Return to the ancient times!

These coins and this relief are depicting an important political event from the early Roman Empire, which one?

Nope, but you got the idea right. It is a more peaceful recovery with more importance in Augustean politics.

It depicts the Parthians delivering the legion eagles lost at Carrhae to the Romans. It was a major propaganda theme for Octavian, since he presented himself as a victor in a conflict where both Crassus and Mark Anthony had been humiliated.
