Default Is it possible to add events?

    Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to add events to Rome 2. Events like 'a horde rising in the east' or 'a chinese invasion of Bactria'. I would of course have to add a chinese faction, that would have to appear at a certain time - or there would have to be something that triggered the invasion (like in Medieval 2).

Yes, it's possible to add in events. Suggest looking through the existing events (what few there are, they're virtually absent in this game) to get an understanding of how they work. The difficulty will be the 'payload', which in your case involves the spawning of armies and activation of a faction.
