    Your archers shoot: 13 and 4. 13*1935 = 25,155. 4*(1935+2*1125+1.5*990) = 22,860. 25% dead. 1500 L Inf, 872 H Inf, 767 Polearms.

    Their archers shoot: 5 and 13. 13*(5850+2*2857+1.5*2182) = 192,556. 5*900 = 4,500. 2% dead. 5733 L Inf, 2800 H Inf, 2138 Polearms.

    Inf vs Inf: 5 and 1. 5*(5733+2*2800+1.5*2138) = 72,685. 1*(1500+2*872+1.5*767) = 4,394. You win, you lose 6%. 5389 L Inf, 2688 H Inf, 2010 Polearms.

I'm not going to do their deaths or the cavalry, you've won, they can't really recover now.

Edit: Might need this. God's Eye infantry survivors, 75%: 1125 L Inf, 654 H Inf, 575 Polearms. Plus: 900 Archers, 585 Light Cavalry, 315 Heavy Cavalry.

    Rout roll 4, 40%. Total survivors: 675 L Inf, 392 H Inf, 345 Polearms, 540 Archers, 351 L Cav, 189 H Cav.

Would the Duskendale forces be able to arrive in time to catch the Longwards?

It's a good question. Alexandrine has been online today, but last posted before I posted this battle. She could've used a timestamp, in theory. Seizing this land still incurs a -3 Stability penalty for her even if you show up and seize it shortly afterwards, since this was a conquest and not simply a temporary occupation, thus it would certainly be in her interest to be present when you arrive for dialogue. On the other hand, you can't immediately annex it to your own realm because it's now player-controlled: Alexandrine would need to be forced to cede it via treaty and you lose -2 Stability instead of -3.

I'll ask the mods about timestamps.

I wouldn't annex it immediately. If Alex has left the region I'd like to open a dialogue with the former king. If not I'd want to open one with king Runcel.

Mods have chatted and concluded that Alexandrine should have the choice of having stayed or having left. Both have significant potential drawbacks so it's up to her. I'd bear in mind that you could chat to the once-King but we've no written mechanics for a conquered territory rebelling: the Lord of God's Eye swore his oath and won't easily be breaking it. You're 99% likely to have to either forcibly take God's Eye or leave it to Alexandrine.

If Alex hasn't decided by the end if today ill do a d10 50-50 roll to decide if the army is there or not.

Why would have the army left the land? No movement was posted in the movement thread nor were the levies ordered to stand down.

I don't even know why we're having this "dilemma"

A few weeks after the battle, when the lasts bits of rotten flesh were being bitten off the yellow bones a golden banner rose to the north of the old capital of the Gods Eye. A single man rode close to the gates, carrying a hawk sigil proudly.

"I am prince Qarl Valdun of Duskendale, son of King Hyle the second of his name! I wish to speak with the lord of these lands!"

Runcel appeared with a smug on his face. "I am lord and king of these lands, prince Qarl. You might remember me.."

"I do, conqueror. By what right do you claim these lands Runcel?" Qarl narrowed his look.

"Well, right of conquest of course." All knew that the Longwards had no claim of kinship or other royal family claims. "How can I help you and your men? You have traveled a long way.."

"We have. These lands are not yours to keep. I am going to have to ask you to leave, your grace. Claiming right of conquest is for barbarian tribes, are you truly not better than them?" Qarl smacked with his mouth. He knew and felt that he was nobler than this Blackwater king. Too quickly they had grown. Too arrogantly.

"And by what right do you claim them in my stead, then? I have fought for these lands honestly and nobly. The lords of the God's Eye had made their choice. Their lot was their own doing. You forget what kingdoms are made of, they are made out of blood and steel, no matter the words you fight for."

"I haven't claimed these lands, your grace." Not yet. "I am denying your conquest of it... And how very honorable of you to fight an army one third your size, would you fare as well against a real army, Langward?"

"So, i'm gonna assume.. that if i turn my back on this lake.. you are going to leave it to its previous lords. I don't think so.. You haven't marched all this way down with such an army just to give it back to the lake people. There must be something in it for you. Please enlighten me with your noble spirit..?"

"Don't take house Valdun for the likes of you. We heard that the Lake lords were under attack from a foreign invader. Finding it to be you was a mere disappointment." Answered Qarl, lying with no regret.

"The Lake lords will be under our protection, but they shall not be forced to swear fealty to us."

Ser Lucan stood right beside his King

Don't you grow tired of seeing only coming out of your mouth, Prince?
