Today is a Great day for Ukraine. Slava Ukraini!

Fellow TW center members, visitors of forum's political corner,

As a Ukrainian citizen I am proud and happy to have this day of Saturday, February 22nd, come to many of my fellow Ukrainians as a great victory over corrupt and criminal government,
and its pro-Russian puppet of a president. A president, who robbed own country, sold out to Russia, authorized and killed own people, steered own country to financial default, and who just recently almost involved our own army to crush popular outcry for justice - is done.

Our country's people have just taken reins of power and avoided further bloodshed and a civil war. Hundreds of corrupt politicians who helped to rot the country are leaving in panic.
Violence is over and new Ukraine is born, a new order, so to say, eventually determined at the just judicial system, transparent government and promise for a regular Ukrainian citizen to live as a human being, and actual chance at pursuit of happiness.

For two decades of independence, Ukraine, an eastern European country, has endured turmoil, political looting, and poverty.
Thank you to those who died in Kiev for our renewed freedom, and to many thousands who suffered for this day to come true.
