    Default Historical Expansion (Sorta)

In my current roman campaign I have just unified all of Italy and Sicily. Everything is going great...

I think this has been discussed before but let me ask.
Is their anyway to prevent some factions from expanding.

Example: The greeks at Massaila are expanding into Gaul in my campaign. Now for me I Don't want to fight a Greek empire in gaul, I want to fight a bunch of backward barbarians.

Another example is Egypt taking over the seleucid lands and going towards the parthians.

    Thanks

Nothing you can do about it, apart from maybe take Massalia to slow them down. As for the Egyptians I don't know how you could hope to stop them.

Let them, it's cool to see certain factions do well in campaigns. The Belgae in my campaign own all of the land from Brittany to Denmark. Pergamon (my ally) has taken most of Anatolia and is moving into Greece. It's good to see these faction become powerhouses, as you'll never get half the challenge from several smaller factions.

I'd say move into Egypt, take their cities and destroy the buildings, then leave.
