DLCs: What Do You Want?

I'm interested in the types of DLCs you want CA to do, after seeing many threads regarding the latest one and its criticism. I thought well what DLC do you want?

Surely you don't mean the mythical Amazons that cut off their breasts to better wield a weapon and capture men to enslave them? Women soldiers did exist in those ancient times, especially in Western Europe. They could just simply add a "Femme Fatale" unit pack, with elite female archers or arms bearers for specific cultures. There were also many instances of women becoming the defacto powerful leaders of ruling families that people rallied to in certain cultures and what not.

Not quite that interpretation (given the physical issues with slicing off a section of your body like that), but yes I've been hoping for an amazon faction. I don't mean with only women, but I've been hoping Rome 2 was going to have at least a faction with female soldiers and/or generals. When the Nomads came out, I thought Scythia would be it for sure, but I was disappointed to see it wasn't.

If not a faction, I would be happy with a unit pack. Though I'd prefer female generals as an option, even if only rarely.

For the first time, I actually agree with you krisslanza, it's ridiculous that there are no proper female characters in RTW2, I think there could be Skythian female warriors and women should certainly be able to be generals and leaders- they even put Iceni in with no possibility of a female general or faction leader- how retardedly sexist is that?

I wanna see Amazons too but they were never a 'faction', simply the female part of the Scythian-Sarmatian civilization that often went to war with their male compatriots or defended the camps while the men were away. They could depict this accurately simply by giving Royal Scythia a few female units.

Regarding DLC? Eh....I want a Balkans cultural pack - Ordysian Kingdom, Getae, and Delmatae
I guess a Trajan in Dacia DLC is a bit too much to ask))

Don't be so ridiculous! If the game had been released with all its proper testing and not the beta release game that we all got on the 3rd September 2013 we would not need all those patches that have currently been released!

Hannibal's War:- Factions could be Carthage, Rome, Syracuse and Macedon

Alexander's Conquest:- Factions could be Macedon, Thebes, Persia, and Pauravas (Indian faction that fought Alexander at The Battle of Hydaspes)

Rise of the Greece (Greco-Persian War and Peloponnesian War situation and emergence of Thebes) Factions:- Persia, Athens, Sparta and Syracuse

Birth of the Roman Empire (Augustus's Civil War with Brutus and Cassius then final one with Anthony and Cleopatra) factions could be Octavian, Anthony, Brutus and Cleopatra

That would be what I hope for most. That, and/or an eastern-centric DLC. But there would be a lot more factions I should think. For starters, Athens would be more important than Thebes I assume. Thebes was mostly subdued by the time Alexander came to power and they just rebelled once before being annihilated while the Athenians bided their time. By extension you could still have Sparta since I'd assume the map would still include all of Greece. Then there's the various satrapies of the Persians. Seleucid satrapies are represented as unique factions in vanilla R2 so I see no reason it should be otherwise for the Persians. You could have Egypt, the Phoenicians, maybe Babylon/Assyria, Sogdia, etc. The Kambojas would be an interesting possible faction as well, between the Sogdians and the Pauravas.
