Playing HTW in windowed mode. Can it be done?

I've been trying to get HTW to run in windowed mode. The standard solution is to edit medieval2.preference.cfg, to include "windowed = true" but that doesn't seem to be working when I play this mod.

Can anyone help me in this regard?

There is a file called "Configuration.cfg" just inside the mod folder. Inside of it (with notepad) there is written something like this somewhere:
"
[video]
windowed = false ## used for modding
movies = true
no_background_fmv = 0
show_banners = 0
"
Try changing windowed = false to windowed = true. It worked for me long time ago; I hope it works for you.
