Spartan - Total War, Peloponnesian - Total War, Sparta - Total War, or Greek - Total War. Haven't Really Decided.....Bad Start
This mod takes place around the time of the Peloponesian war and The Battle of Thermopylae. About 400 B.C. - 480 B.C. Not everything has been decided just yet. Once the team is assembled we will debate on all of these questions. It is not decided on BI, RTW, or Alex, because of phalanx issues.....

I would like to ask for permission from ATG to use his ATG General and ATG Spartans, and I might need some of DBH's skins such as Sacred Band and Athenian Marine Archer. I would really appreciate it if we were aloud to use the unit.
I Need Helpers That Wanna Join This Mod. Anyone Is Aloud To Come. They Must Be Full Time Members, I Will Contact Archer For A Forum To Work In.

A few things to consider:

- MIITW comes out relatively soon
- Hegemonia City States will probably be out soon (Probably not same time period, but very, very similar in nature to what you propose)
- Can you field a talented and dedicated team to make a good enough mod (on an era covered by several other mods).

He's right. Seleucid empire was created after Alexander the Great's death. Your mod covers the Hellenic-Persian wars(480-400 BC) and Alexander was born in 356 B.C.

I did a fairly well-written 5 page essay on the Peloponnesian War last year, but had to stop, due to a page limit. Anyway, I'm going to revise this list of factions in how I believe it should be for that time period. Remember, the war was 40 years...

That's my critique, take it or leave it. I'm not saying I'm an expert in this, but I do have a copy of the annal written by Thucydides of Sparta about this war and I read it and liked it.

Arent you the mod leader for Troy Total War? So dont already have a mod around this area(around is within a few hundred years). Why would you make a new one?

IF the trojan wars happened then they are dated to somewhere around 1200-1000 BC .. so its either 800 or 600 years earlier cannot remember which
