Help me please

I need help installing for steam also hyrule total war when installed comes as one massive notepad file for parts 1 and 2 is that supposed to happen it say the note pad is to large to open. Parts 3 and 4 also install like this if that is a problem how could I fix it. Sorry if everyone's heard a complaint like this before or if this is just a terrible place to post this.

Where are you downloading from?

What are you using to unzip the files?

How are you 'installing'?

Where are you installing them to? (the file paths)

1. I download from http://www.moddb.com/mods/hyrule-total-war/downloads
2. I don't know is it possible for me to be using notepad for that. If I need a new program to do it right what do you suggest.
3.Just clicking the download button at the site.
4.Everything get installed to downloads I move it to Medieval 2 total war mods into a hyrule folder that I make.

Please post these problems in the Technical Issues subforum in the future.

You're trying to use notepad to open zip files? No that won't work at all. You need to use winrar, then extract the installers to a location (any place will work), run the installers, and then set the file path to the Hyrule folder.
