Thread: Republican Influence

    Default Republican Influence

It seems I don't understand the relationship between gravitas and faction influence in the Roman republic. I've been carefully rotating my generals but still my own factions influence is beginning to get out of control. To counter this, I've been giving opposing faction members skills and achilaries that increase their gravitas. Yet, my influence continues to climb and theirs continues to fall. What am I missing?

(My faction is the Julia. Notice the gravitas totals here!)

    Thanks.

what are the other generals ambition that plays into it a fair bit, but yeah to me that looks a little skewed. It could actually be due to their generals not being in Roma and since your generals are in Roma they are increasing their influence in the senate, try sending the highest gravitas opposing factions generals back to Roma and your generals into the field.
