new Tournament - nominations thread too

I'm pleased to announce the War of the Worlds Tournament!

It is time to once and for all determine the best hotseat community! Westeros, TATW or Main area/SS?

2 players representing each community will face the other teams in the ultimate fight for domination of the Hotseat area!


To make sure everybody has equal chance, it has been decided to hold this tournament on Thera. Thera is a mod that has good balance, fun factions and is uncharted territory for all teams. Hotseats on thera have been responsible for the current revival of the main area.
This means that nobody will have a home advantage, everything will be decided by strategic writ, tactical abilities, team play and skill in battle of the individual players!

This is the map we shall use and the teams:

The teams:
Team 1: Kingdom of Avalon, Royaume de Meravangi
Team 2: Povos da Hispania, Tahar Caliphate
Team 3: Faustian Reich, Grand Duchy of Dracule

The teams shall be randomly allocated between the areas once the players are known. Battles against players will be autoresolved, but against AI will be fought, which means that player should also be able to fight against the AI effectively.


Prizes

Both members from the winning team shall receive the TWC hotseat medal, 30 rep and a custom made sigature. Their community shall also be crowned best hotseat community of TWC!


Players
Everyone who wants to represent the honor of their community, who wants to fight and die for the greater glory of his hotseat area, can nominate himself. After a week we shall close the nominations and open up a poll to determine who shall be the representative of this community!


Now Great commanders of the Third Age, I humbly beseech upon you to nominate yourself for the glory of Middle earth We shall prove that none can match us they play with there mean while we best wizards, dwarves, elfs and face off against Nazgul and fearsome orcs !

Rules are still in progress but we will be fighting AI factions and auto resolving player factions. Now to shamelessly follow loose cannons example and quote stuff instead of trying to explain it

It's not even funny, this is all lame quality work you guys are doing. Makes me regret I contacted the GS lol. Anyway probably Nice and Joe are the best you guys have? Khuzaymah is also possible, anyway just nominate yourselves and the polls will speak for themselves.

Nice and Joe most definitely. If Nice can't play than Joe and Chieftain would probably be our best bet to crush those silly Westeros and SS fools.... oh wait, I play both of those too!

I am grateful for the nominations and would gladly accept. The problem this TATW section is going to have is that some of the best veteran players are no longer active.
