Factional personality
In the game files there are some factional personalities to each one that I think relate to how aggressive a faction is. Aren't they a bit randomly or rome-vanilla-like attributed?
The game shows usually the Sweboz expanding franatically, when, as far as I know, they we're just dissipated tribes that weren't that aggressive beyond the Rhine. Yeah I remember the Cheruschi (bad spelling), Cimbri (bad spelling).
Like-wise the Quart-Hadast are so mellow in-game and not expansionist and don't really like conquering Spain and have a strong wish to leave Rome have Sicily.
So I wonder, do you know how we could give factions more close to them "personalities"? Any need changing ? Which personalities are more aggressive and what do all of them actually mean in the game how do they affect the AI development?

I think you're looking for these:

This influences the decision-making of the ai in deciding which buildings to build and which units to recruit. I'm not sure how it affects ai expansion though.
http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showth...Win-Conditions
This makes the ai more focused on conquering certain areas rather than rampaging all over the place. It also means that they are more aggressive. The Romans will now take Taras ASAP rather than letting it sit around in Epirote hands.

Re: Factional personality
So, guys what do you think: Do those factional personalities actually affect in any way the game? Is it worth tuning them to preference?
About the wining conditions, well I think I used them. Didn't seem to alter the game in any way as far as I remember.

Re: Factional personality
I am unsure about win conditions but I am pretty sure this is legit
http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showth...escr_strat-txt
If win conditions works it is probably low priority for ai. I also think the descr_strat stuff is low priority. Hay always seems to expand north. But ai sees an enemy that it can hit hard, then expands further north when it sees an easy target with mines. No matter how I tweak the game, I can never seems to stop eastern greeks & luso from becoming xdeath and I never have a good parthia, pontos, hay, or rome.
