Beginning of this horror seemed like every other attempt to play Romani campaign but at last season of 272 Phyrros himself decided to come for save of Taras i siegedand my starting army of 2000 smth got overwhelmed by 2700+ huge army with about 5 Phalanxes.
After killing assload of enemies I gave up and returned to my quicksaved game 2 turn earlier, I sent Blasio to counter the threat of Epeirote king but in first new attempt he died, while I won(due to Phyrros following him due to heroic efforts of my 2 halfdead equites units) losing only 500 men, game however crashed and I imagined it to be Blasios dream warning to not clash with Phyrros until he had met my Triarii, I crushed Phyrros easily buter managed to escape
Now with my 75% of remaining army witch had meanwhile avoided slow phalangites, to crush those last remaining units, they however proved suprisingly resilient and I had to use wast amount of tricks before I managed to rout first and than second phalanx, than my last surviving 25% got overwhelmed by last 2 nearly healthy phalanxes and I had close victory due to timer
Chirurgeon managed to save about half of army but next I had to face army of another thousand men so I had enough, victory didnt feel right+also it was around seven at morning and I had to go to school
anyway why are soldiers still in high morale when general flees, we all know what happened when Anthony left from Actium to chase Cleopatras skirt![]()
