Do you guys think CA will ever provide another patch which fixes some nagging issues in RTW 1.5/1.6 and which pull the game down a bit from where it should be (some issues even introduced in the last patch):
- the units attacking dead units and in so doing becoming completely immobilized and irresponsive to commands bug (very common in my games)
- the missle units firing "phantom" missles at non-existent units at the end of a battle bug (also quite common)
- the split routing unit bug (often phalanxes), where most of the unit has already left the battle but there are a few or even one man left on the map and he doesn't show on the radar, and you have to spend 5 minutes locating him by random and sending your cav to kill him (common and frustrating). And because most of the unit have already left the map, his movement is buggy and sometimes he "moonwalks"
- similar split unit bug where your cav can't finish off a unit because some parts of the unit are behind it and some are ahead of it, and your horses won't charge when ordered to attack
- cav pulling up just before impacting routing units bug (introduced in 1.5?)
- unit card says unit still firing missles when unit has depleted all ammo bug
- siege AI - the AI bashes down your gate or knocks a hole in your wall, and despite now having access to your city, then proceeds to bring siege towers up to your walls!!
- siege AI - the AI gets its units into your city but only sends one unit at a time into your plaza, easily allowing you to pick them off one by one
- battle AI - AI units just stand idle and allow you to pepper them with missiles
- battle AI - most AI units standing idle while the AI only engages you using one unit at a time
- battle AI - AI lines up well for the battle, but then only advances to your lines with one or two units (often still includes suicidal general)
- battle AI - AI running its units into battle = exhaustion
- campaign AI - AI manages naval invasion - e.g. Palma - but his army then just stands idle doing nothing for many turns
- introduce presumably better diplomacy AI retrospecively from MTW2 into RTW??
- AI not merging or retraining units
- memory leak - still in 1.5/1.6
- why in 1.5 they stopped you merging units when you were attacked and about to enter battlemap?
- elite and gold chevron troops appearing in cities that have rebelled - needs reconsidering
Anyone think such issues might be tackled after MTW2 is released?
