    Default Amazon download version issues

    I recently downloaded the Gold Edition of M2TW off of Amazon. The version number for the base game is listed as 1.03, and Kingdoms are referred to as 1.04. I looked around for patches, and the total war forums said those who got it from Amazon are basically screwed. Anyone got any idea what to do?
