Fierce Deity

So I was curious as to what the Fierce Deity was in UN's lore for HTW. Is he a god? A Druthulidi? A myth? A legendary hero? A champion of the Three? Or is he just not going to be a thing at all?

they(they doesn't have a gender) is a god and we don't know what it does, but one of nephs games hint at it being more powerful than the goddesses and a threat to them.

Nice. I would very much like to see a three way war with the goddesses, Onigami, and Majora. I always envisioned the Deity as a being of chaos, not Majora chaos per se, but a sort of righteous fury.

Neph has plans for a Termina campaign at some point. If it's gonna show up, it will be then.

That certainly makes sense. While Neph describes Termina as a sort of hell for his lore, it could also be thought of as an alternate reality, just based off of the games(same models but different people). As such, he/it could be that universe's version of the goddesses, while his mask was a sort of Triforce? Either way, I would love to see Neph take a crack at him. He's been a really good writer thus far.

We don't really know much about these since most of Neph's time goes into the main game, with other time devoted to the Great Sea expansion first. But we have these screen shots, and they are pretty cool.

Neph made this comment yesterday in the Church of Majora thread, which has been the first real info he's given us since the announcement (and probably the only one for a while)
