You will never believe what happened to me. I bought game, activated it , installed and while I was pluging microphone and headphone in order to communicate on skype, my power supply died! I mean ffs! AM I the unluckiest man on Earth?like 25 mins before the game should start.
Now am at the friend place dlding the game hope I can hot join in 30 mins.

I've played 3 or 4 test games as Qara, not once have the Timurids attacked me. So once the real thing gets going, about 3 years in, the Timurids attack me. I wipe out their manpower reserves but lose mine in the process, forcing me to peace. I don't make any huge losses. After vassalising Najd and Oman, and starting to vassalise Hedjaz, the Mamluks decide to be :wub:s and declare war, meaning I can't vassalise them in the peace without going to war with them. Instead, I end up annexing them, which puts the Timurids, Yemen and Mamluks in coalition. A few years later, the Mamluks declare war on me. I can't beat them all but I can defeat their armies, and I get a winning peace at not much gain.

Busy waiting on Admin 4 (a few years away still...) so I can get an extra diplomat, as my current two are busy diplo-annexing things. Hopefully the Mamluks will leave the coalition at some point...

Strangely enough Russia got no peasants today as they were all being used as chattle labor while waiting to be converted into serfs.

Sweden, Session One

Sweden started the session as a thrall of the evil Danes. A trade fleet was built, embargoes sent out, money gathered. Castillian and Brandenburgian charities were contacted and donated to the cause.

The Swedish Army was increased to 13,000 soldiers and the French were secured as supporters of Swedish Independence. When the time came, 2 French battleships helped blockade the strait and a small 4,000 man French expeditionary force went to Finland to fight rebels.

The first target was Norway: their 10,000 strong army was attacked and destroyed with ease, fleeing to the far north where they would make a minor nuisance of themselves every so often, only marching south once to relieve Oslo, before being cast north again. The Danish forts in Scania fell and Sweden took full control of the eastern side of the straits. Reinforced with mercenary forces, the Swedes attacked the Danish isles, routing the foe and taking the entire Danish territory. Scania was ceded and Sweden crowned its own King.

Alas, the triumph was tainted, with a peasant war starting from an exhausted populace. It was short lived, as the King shrewdly gave tax breaks to the peasants and invested heavily in internal stability, resolving the grievances and restoring Sweden to prosperity. Much of the mercenary army was disbanded, and 16,000 Swedish troops were raised to invade Livonia.

The Swedish Empire was formally founded with the addition of Riga and Livonia to Swedish control. The next 6 years will be used to consolidate the gains into core territory. With Poland-Lithuania to the south and Muscowy to the north, the new imperial territory may not expand in the near future. Rumblings of a coalition forming against a militarily powerful Poland-Lithuania give the Swedish King hope that southward and eastward expansion at the expense of this new foe may be possible.

Also I'm feeling helpless as the Holy Roman Emperor. I'm afraid to engage any human player that starts aggressively expanding into my empire for fear of Pat invading again. Damn you Pat!!

You should have picked something else.Preferably an italian nation.You picked austria late so everyone had made their pregame diplomacy.Just like poland is getting ganked by everyone so was the plan to expand in hre.I think pat had mentioned he wanted to become austria with hungary and noone would be willing to help since their expansion route was through your and your princes' land
