    Default possible mod idea for meideval 2 / kingdoms

    ok before I start, I am a noob to tw games all together, I got medieval 2 and rome off steam a few weeks ago, and I abuslutly love kingdoms. however I seem to not like the fact of different ages, so I was wondering if it is possible to make a mod that allows you to force it to stick to one age, not allowing it to advance. If I could I would write it myself, but I have no prior experience, so if someone could code it for me, or put me in the right derection to start off would be highly appreciated.

    Better ask about it in the modding workshop. People there might tell you how to do it.

    Yes, As stated above, the Modding Workshop is indeed the place for future similar queries. However I will answer your question here.

    It is not possible, so far as I am aware, to physically stop the advancing of years and turns, however, it is quite easy to stop historical events (Gunpowder, The World is Round etc.) by simply emptying the campaign_scripts.txt file.
