Thank you Tzar!
I'm not really a fan of the religion aspect in this game. It'd have to be one of the more annoying aspects in Barbarian Invasion. It was neat when converting people, but I found that it was much more difficult to keep people happy than it was in the original R:TW.

This was on gamespot ages ago, theres 7 diaries there
as with everything AI related, it all depends on how well it's implemented. If diplomacy works as in RTW then there will be not much in it. If they deliver what they promise it should be an interesting and fun aspect to the game
you're absolutely right. I'm just slightly enthused b/c CA has stated that th AI has been grossly improved.as with everything AI related, it all depends on how well it's implemented. If diplomacy works as in RTW then there will be not much in it. If they deliver what they promise it should be an interesting and fun aspect to the game
Man, the sites have been churning out Religion reviews, it most be a very important part of the game this time around, as long as its better than Rome or Medieval 1, I'll be happy. And this time their should be Jewish Emissary's so there's a point of having that religion in the game this time.
I think that religion will be very very important, Everything is connected. If you have lots of priests and churches = your religion is spreading =Pope is happy = you have bonus from that =( you can attack christian neighbour)=new regions=more money =etc
NO PROBLEM@MEDIEVAL_ROCKS-Thank you Tzar!![]()
Im inpartial to the religion aspect right now. I think its could add another angle to the game other, but I hope it doesnt take over.
On a side note, I am not really a fan off all the different characters like the princess and merchant. I enjoy micromanagement, but they just get on my nerves as I always forget to move them and they just get old, while not adding much.
I see that they have updated diplomacy in another review. As long as the diplomacy isnt an impossible task of idiots arguing about the fate of a city or nation, kindof like todays diplomacy, ill be fine.
The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him,
But because he loves what is behind him.
What I'm most concerned about is the old popes dying off every 5 turns and the whole game revolving around pleasing the "people". I was glad when RTR distroyed the sentate missions, it was one less chatterbox.
As long as "pleasing the people" becomes more logical than in RTW, I'm happy. In RTW, your people would eventually turn themselves against you, and the only way to get your order above 100% was to put your garrison outside of your settlement until it would revolt, and then you went back in and exterminated your own people. There was no other way to get rid of squalor - no social reforms, nothing. I don't mind pleasing the people, but then I want means to do so.
