Most retailers will sell it for around $50 in the US of A. But I wonder when it will be in stores, and which ones? I'm thinking I'm going to preorder from Gogamer.com, which'll cost around $50 including shipping.

I think in some places the collectors edition is the same price, but only available via pre-order, like it was with Halo 2 (in australia at least)

I got the collector's edition pre-ordered here in Australia. It was the same price pre-ordered as the normal edition, otherwise I would not have bothered. It has some maps and a making of dvd, as far as I know nothing more.

i do think i'll skip out on the Special edition.

...i've determined it's not worth it. Usually, though, games in USA are around 50 dollars and when I'm in Poland their about 150 zloty.

Here in the US collectors editions of games are usually $59.99 while the normal version is $49.99.
